Olallie Lake is one of the few "Quiet Waters" lakes in Oregon. No motors are permitted on any of the lakes in the Olallie Lake Scenic Area (OLSA). Just man powered row boats, paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, and sailboats. The peace, quiet, serenity, and crystal clear beauty of Olallie Lake makes boating a truly relaxing experience!
RENTAL BOATS
The resort Store rents wood and aluminum row boats, paddle boats, and canoes. Boats range from $6-9 an hour to $25-35 per day to $125-175 for the whole week!
Please keep in mind that our green wood rowboat fleet was mostly built in the 50's and 60's. They are great old stable boats which we totally rebuilt, repaired and repainted a few years ago, and are a fixture you find only at Olallie, but they can have an idiosyncracy or two due to their age. Please respect them and they will do great by you! Unfortunately, it is damage by the misuse of previous renters that
causes the most damage to our boats. (More big fish come out of our green boats than any other method! Are the fish used to them? Or? Hmmmm.)
Then there are the Labor Day Weekend PADDLE BOAT RACES. We have a great time every year the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend with prizes for the winners and everything!. Plan for it and we'll see you there!
